Dear TheFutureEmbrace Forums User,
I am extremely sorry to inform you that there has been an incident regarding our forums. Apparently, someone was able to get into my administrator's account and cause some damage to our message board. All of the forums have been deleted, and messages have been erased. The person who is responsible for this obviously knows what he or she is doing. They hacked into my computer and installed a keylogger. This keylogger allowed these people to record any and all of my passwords and personal information. They were able to obtain my encrypted password, and use this password to take over my e-mail address, message board accounts, my PayPal account and instant messenger accounts. I have made numerous attempts to log into these accounts, but all passwords have been changed and I've been locked out of my own workstation. Luckily, I was able to call my credit card company before any additional fraud occurred.
I am unsure if this person has caused any additional damange to anyone else's account, since it's obvious this person can cause sufficient harm. For further details on how to see if this creep has done any harm to you, please read over this Q & A.
Q. So, what exactly is going on?
A. An attempt at an April Fool's joke, if you hadn't guessed already.
Q. Was anything really hacked?
A. No, it was all a joke.
Q. So nothing was done to the forums or my account?
A. Nope, unless one of your friends knows your password...
Q. So this hacker didn't take over your computer and steal your personal information?
A. Nope
Q. What about the e-mail I got?
A. It was all to add to the background that the joke might be real. Nothing to worry about.
Q. You're a sick, sick, sick man.
A. Um, sorry? Haha. I have to admit, it was a lame attempt as a joke.
That said, have a good April Fools, and try not to fall for any more obviously false jokes...

| That was a good April fool's joke. I was upset for you too. Hacking the forum is one thing but when you said they had also gotten into your Paypal account I was thinking, this poor guy. |

haha you didnt get me!!! he first thing i thought of was its april fools day when i read it!
Plus it didnt really make sense that u could send emails but not access anything else but good try im gonna have to be on my toes <_< >_> |

Yea I had to send it out a bit early cause I was going to a party, and wouldn't get online again until late in the day for April Fool's.

i finally clicked the link to see what you got for me..
i first read the e-mail when i had just woken up, and when i had gotten to the end of it, i was like "is it april 1 already?"
haha, indeed it was ...
i actually could believe it, if it wasnt april 1...
and sorry for not being around too much.. in fact, at all. |
