Why We Love Billy I love Billy. Obviously. But today I realized why.
Not only is he a brilliant musician, he is a very well spoken and articulate man.
For a person who said he was bored in school and only graduated high school, he speaks as if he is the most educated person in the world. He is such a captivating speaker and is so quick and witty. It's unbelievable.
I was watching the Graceful Swans of Never and Full Circle documentaries today, and I re-realized that he is so well spoken. You listen to interviews with other young musicians, and they speak, but in reality it's like they haven't said anything at all. Billy's insightful and smart when he talks. It's captivating and fun to listen to.
Alright I'm done :P

Yeah, he always inspires me with whatever he says, even if it's just a load of bullcrap it's always good to hear :)
An old favourite is on veiuphoria when they're doing the counselling and Billy comes up with that circus anaology, crazy guy, but we love him!

I totally agree! When someone asks billy a question about him being melancholic, he answers no, but the interviewer keeps asking him these kind of questions. And in that case, billy doesn't say something like "I'm different than people think" or "people think I am things that I'm not", no, he says: "Everyone has a misguided perception of my brain". In using those words, he just appears so much more "credible" to me.
But sometimes, I have troubles really capturing the exact meaning behind what he says (mainly because English is only my third language). For instance, what did he really mean by the circus story on vieuphoria? Did he mean that he still needed to "reward" the other pumpkins for helping him becoming famous or something??

I think one of the reasons I adore Billy so much is the fact that he's very much a man but he's so sensitive and unafraid to say what he feels or what's on his mind. He's so unlike the stereotypical 'rock star'.

If this was Netphoria, this thread would be "Why we hate Billy"
