Silverchair
I know I havent been on in awhile, been alittle occupied, just curious anyone on here like Silverchair, in my opinion there really good, alittle "poppy" at times but still original, I haven't heard much of Daniel John's new band though, I've heard he's becoming more like a "frat boy" but I dont know, great band, and definitley not rip offs of nirvana or pearl jam like everyone claims..

well being australian i know all about them, yeh i like em!! His other band was also really good but its broken up and silverchair has reformed!! I did prefer them when daniel johns was depressed tho... diorama is ok but not great!

ive heard quite a few songs by them...didnt do much for me, but i like anthem to the year 2000, or something along those lines

yeah that's a good song, I like alot of there older stuff and havent heard much of there new album diorama

last thurseday I finally bought there second album "Freakshow"and there la-*test*-('") masterpieve "Diorama"amazing stuff, it shows true talented artists mature can't wait till there north american tour, when ever the hell that will be.. everyone should check them out

It think Daniel Johns is a genius when it comes to song writing. Billy actually said that he thinks he is very talented when Billy guest-programmed RAGE (he then played Ana's Song (Open Fire). The Dissociatives collaboration with Paul Mac (aussie DJ) is a CD I reckon everyone should check out. But I must agree, there older stuff, particularly Neon Ballroom, is some of the best. And I absolutely loved the drumkit Ben used during the Diorama tour!! Rainbows!!

they hav enew music out huh! I used to be a pretty big fan, (especially Daniel so attractive :wink: ). NEon Ballroom for me was always my favorite to listen to. I haven't played their cds in awhile.....maybe I should go do that :) "perfectionism under minds motivation and delays action."

ther are writing anew album i think... i allways figured they broke up!
