Seeing as this forum is based around music and most of us play some kind of instrument, I was wondering if any of you have written lyrics, recorded songs or been in any bands etc. :?:

I have been in a few bands but currently it is just me and a guitarist named Josh I write lyrics and sing and sometimes play keyboard we also do covers (including soma, cherub rock, stumbliene, geek usa, quiet etc.) there not that good though maybe ill put a few things up here, I dont know though, im pretty self concious

im not in a band really, but in Feb, i will be playin in a band with some friends for the Eisteddfod (some welsh seremoni thingy...look it up if youre bored). then with them again for some charity gig. i play bass

I'm in a "band", but it's pretty much me and a few friends who jam. It's rather fun though. I've been writing lyrics since forever, and I've been playing guitar for 2 years now.

i played guitar, but i got lazy, and only learnt pumpkin songs. now i pla bass (what i wanted originaly). ive got a floppy disc full of lyrics somewhere.

iv got a lot of stuff to do!! a forum band im meant to form a band as i challenged a mate to a band off while drunk and im also challenging another mate who doesnt have a band... and we're gonna film that and turn it into a documentary (kinda like the dandy warhols doco) Me and my mate are also making a musical to piss off another mate, its about his gf and its not very nice! i also like to sing randomly

What exactly is a "band off" :shock:

beats me... depends how you structure your band off!!!

I will have to write to the IOC for the official rules...

good idea!!! Make sure you get rules for both short and long versions!!!

Any of you musicians (vocalists, pianists/keys) on here wanna help me out on my project? All you need is to be able to record from home on your cpu? let me know if you're interested...

i might sing... im not very good (failry crap voice)... but if the songs right i can sing on it! :D
