Who are you into that hasnt made it big yet? I found this band at my cd shop called Mellowdrone, sweet cd, they could be a tad better but theyre awesome. I dont think theyve signed any huge contracts yet and theyve got a nice following of fans

Cool, I know a few local bands on Myspace etc. Don't ya just love bands that build up a small cult following, they have more personality than bands that just burst onto the mainstream and seem more human etc. :D

true, there is this one band called The Violent Sky and I know one of the guys from the band from some other forum, they're a great band, experimental almost jazz/rock I dont know im pretty sure they still have a myspace and there homepage is www.theviolentsky.com

i need to see more local/indie bands. the place where i come from is full of emo punk harcore type bands, it doesnt appeal that much to me. they have good followings though and original music. the bands that come out of my school have been together for atleast a year and still think theyre high and might cause they can play cover songs, they havnt even tried writing anything. i shouldnt turn this into a bitching thread :lol: mellowdrone still have a myspace, its all temporary stuff till they release their ep. i found out about them cause i was flick through the cds at my cd shop and their cd was there, looked cool and was only 5 bucks, i was like "how can i go wrong?". pretty good cd www.mellowdrone.com
