**Mastered** By thir13en My FAQ: http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com/forums.php?action=viewtopic&topicid=1232 Smashing Pumpkins 1998-07-29 DAR Constitution Hall Washington, DC I thought I'd reseed this one, would have easily been my favorite of the Adore FM's except for the omitted songs, Blank Page and Transmission. The band had been working their way into a groove during the European leg of the tour, but once they got to the states they hit a seriously rockin' stride. By the time they got to DC, they were a fine-tuned machine. The mix and broadcast were nearly flawless and I captured it straight to DAT... ...We were second row, right in front of James. I've never felt an impact like that before, nor since. They took the stage, ambled into "to Sheila" and we thought, cool, this is nice. Then the big part came with the drums, distortion and a cement wall of sound, and I literally blew back a few inches, my body shook, swayed back and vibrated. I've worked live shows many times. I've had the venue manager shove db meters in my face saying it was too loud on a whole lot of occasions. I gaurantee I've never mixed anything that loud before, and although I've apparently tried, I tell you with complete certainty I never came close to that. WHFS broadcast this, and in their over 20 years of rockin' service to the community of DC, they were huge Pumpkins fans. But they botched this badly, omitting Blank Page and Transmission from the broadcast. I pleaded with them, but nothing. Some FM noise during BWBW. I'm clear on the other side of DC (Oh it's only a city and burb's of over 6 million people!) from their broadcast tower, a good 30 miles of dense city, power lines and freeways. I did my best, believe me. But it's cleaned up and maxed out just like all my stuff. 01 - To Sheila 02 - Once Upon A Time 03 - Ava Adore 04 - Perfect 05 - The Tale of Dusty and Pistol Pete 06 - Tear 07 - Annie Dog 08 - Thru The Eyes Of Ruby Blank Page - NB 09 - Tonight Tonight 10 - Blissed & Gone 11 - BWBW 12 - Shame 13 - For Martha 14 - 1979 Transmisson - NB SOURCE INFO: FM>Panasonic 3800 DAT>Pro Tools Digi001>Sound Forge>Flac http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com/details.php?id=3118 Great Adore era show, just grabbed it :)
